The game, Puzzlejuice sounds fun. I went to the app store to download it, and balked at the $1.99 charge for a puzzle game. This is a great example of the reason why we study the freemium model. The game does have 14 reviews and a good rating of 5 stars. The number of players may be minimal compared to the number of players of other games. (Tetris Blitz has 8,613 reviews in the app store, Candy Crush has 1,526).
The game, produced by Sirvo LLC takes up 29.3 MB on my Iphone and the developer currently has one other game out.
How did you discover this game? Do you know much about the company and their profitability? If you were marketing for this game, what might you do to increase the number of downloads? What differences are there between this game and a game that is more popular/profitable in the genre?
